What breed? 8 weeks old

Got them at the Co-Op. What breed are they? They like to be 3 feet away from me and quiet. 8 weeks old and eat more grass than feed!

Maybe Chinese. I'm still learning breeds.

Geese are grazers, so whenever possible, grass makes up most of their diet.

Mine were quiet until their first breeding season.

I would say hatchery African, which technically is still partially Chinese, but full-blood Chinese would be a little slimmer with a more upright posture and longer necks. They are gorgeous!

Thanks, I am trying to get them to graze the back field but they just want to stay near my front door. lol. I might pen them up back there for a while.

Mine lay around 60/80 a year.
