Bought these two at the auctions today dirt cheep as they are un-sexed and unknown breed. If anyone had ideas on what they could be it would be greatly appreciated.
I thought Indian runners because they do stand more upright than my Muscovys but the white one also looks like a pekin. There is a chance they’re a mix.

Muscovys were pretty rough on them today. Hoping they’re going to be okay! Seems to be pecking order establishment as my big (assumed) boy was the one doing most of the bashing up. Just went on long than I expected. Insight on this would also be great

Note// in pic with all the ducks they’re the two on the end. Provided to try to show the upright stance.

They've very likely got some Runner in them but I don't think they are pure Runner. They are to heavily built.

Thank you for the help :)
They’re lovely birds and I am happy I bought them even if they are mixes. They’re reasonably friendly (especially since they spent the day at the noisy auction to come home with strangers).. so that’s good when moving from the day pen back into their night box. We were worried if they were runners they’d be hard to catch so I think you’re right in saying mixes as they’re showing a calmer temperament

Are they siblings? I would say the black and white one is definitely a Magpie (I have a Magpie hen that looks very similar) and who knows on the white one!

I think they are runner mixes. If your birds are not accepting the new ones, try putting a divider ( wire etc.) down the middle of the run. This way. the new are separated from the established. They can see each other but, not get injured. After a time they will be used to each other and you can have them all together while keeping close eye to see how things are going.

Thank you
I don’t know if they are siblings we got no information with them as it was just a local auction. For $2 a duck I wasn’t going to leave them!
They get along better now they still sit own their own but the Muscovy ducks aren’t pestering them.

The only issue I have with saying that they could be Magpies is I didn’t know I could get magpies in my area. I live in Australia and haven’t seen them for sale. I’m not saying that he/she isn’t a magpie was just unaware of their existence.
