First question.
Where did you get them from?
Second.
Did you get straight run? Meaning that they are a mix of male and female.

Jupiter looks like it could be a Buff Orpington chick or a RIR chick.
But the others I don’t know.

Wait I am sorry! The others look like they could be Barred Rock mixes.
If you look closely they have a barring pattern. Or they could be Dominiques. Which also have a barred pattern.

Breeds I have no idea.

Genders, it's no better than a guess at this point. Star's comb is already going pink. Moon and Jupiter have minimal tails, which is often another sign.

I would guess that Star and Jupiter are boys. Give the others a few more weeks and ask again.

So these were from fertile eggs that someone at my husbands work gave him, I hatched them out and then guy has no idea! The black ones came out of blue eggs. The yellow came from a brown egg.

I was afraid of that lol star is our fave because he’s so friendly. But he has the attitude of a rooster. Jupiter was my one I saved by hand hatching.

So the black are probably either some kind of easter egger (Auraucana genes somewhere up their family tree) or have Legbar* genes. Those are the two primary blue egg layers.
