What breed and gender is this chick?

Could anyone tell me what breed and gender this chick is please?

It is for certain an orpington or a cochin but we really cant work it out! Also the sex?

It does have minimal feathers on legs but not as much as all the other cochins! by a mile

it's neither of those breeds it has a beard and those 2 breeds you posted do not have beards and it looks like it might be a mix

Yes it looks like a mix to me too although a very pretty hen.... How old?

Looks like an EE to me.

its 6 weeks old. It doesnt have a beard, i think thats the photo. We have hatched out these eggs so we know it has to be either a cochin or an orpington as their was no other breeds. The colour orpingtons we hatched were blue, splash and black.. and cochin colours were black, or blue. Is it a girl then?

Considering the sparse leg feathering, is there any chance it's a cochin x orpington?

Looks like a hen to me. Did you order the eggs or breed them yourself?

Breed them ourselves, and know they should be pure breeds so this one has got us thinking!

Hens can store semen for awhile, is it possible she might have ,,, "cheated" on her boyfriend????
