what breed and gender is this

I placed my first ever chick order and the sent a free " exotic chick". I thought at first it was Dominique but the comb said otherwise. It doesnt look anything like my barred rock that is the same age. Idk. We arent allowed roosters so im worried.

Not all Cuckoo Marans have feathered legs, theres clean legged Marans as well

See the white legs? Rocks have yellow. It's a hatchery cuckoo Marans which are usually clean-legged. I also strongly suspect it's a cockerel but would need to know age to be sure.
