What breed and gender of chickens and ducks

I’m positive you all know a lot more about the chick breeds but I disagree with you on the black chick being a cockerel because she/he usually doesn’t have a red comb and doesn’t have the cockerel tail feathers like the others. Also she/he never fights with the other three.

sorry, it is a boy, notice the pinkness at such a young age?? notice the tail feathers already look slightly male? the only reason he is not fighting is because he is probably the lowest in the pecking order.

Urrrrr every clutch of eggs hatched on my farm has been more males than females. Oh well . Anyone have any ideas on the ducks

Looks like you have one drake (the one with the green head). I can't see the tails on all of them but the coloration of the others makes them appear female, and the pekin not having a drake feather also appears female, but I don't know what age these ducks are.

Typically, male ducks have darker coloration than females in non-solid breeds. It looks like you may have gotten sent fawn and white runner ducks instead of plain white runners, but my knowledge on runners is limited to reading posts in this forum. I'm not quite sure about the coloration of the male. He looks way too dark to be a fawn and white.

Yes I’m sorry I meant fawn and white not pure white. Is it possible that any wild ducks could have bred with the female to make that green head. Shouldn’t the duckling of two fawn and white Indian runners be a fawn and white. Indian runner mixed with Peking shouldn’t be that dark,right?

Blue Ameraucana is a pullet at 7 months. First 2 chicks pictured are males as well as the last. The two in the middle look like pullets to me.

Don't know about the ducks.
