We have 4 chickens and were told that all were female, two Ameracauna (sp?) and two I can’t remember what they said. None have laid eggs and 2 days ago one of them started crowing! From what I’ve read so far, I’m pretty sure there are no Ameracaunas here and I’m not positive, but I think there may be 2 males. I know which one has been crowing; it’s the one with black in its feathers.

The one with the black in it's feathers looks like a Wyandotte mix, probably a rooster. The other that looks like it but has a beard is probably an Easter Egger because it doesn't look like it has a standard Ameraucana color nor dark legs. The buff colored one looks like a Buff Orpington. The other one that looks like it and is buff I can't really tell if it has a single comb if so, it is also a buff Orpington.

Agree with bantamsrmyfav. I see only one definite male, the Wyandotte mix. The bearded bird is an Easter egger/red sex link cross and a pullet. Both buff birds look female, too. One looks kind of small for an Orpington, so she may be a cross. Hope you get eggs soon!

Here is my breakdown:
1. Male EE (Beards and muffs are an incomplete dominant, so he doesn't have to have them to be an EE. He has a pea comb, so chances are one or both parents were pea or rose combed birds.) From what I can see he appears to be a Wyandotte and maybe Legbar cross. (Thus pea comb and no beard)
2) Female EE. She is definitely not an Ameraucana (Correct spelling)
3) Buff Orpington Pullet
4) Buff Orpington Pullet

Thank you for the great info!
