What breed and gender?

None of them are even close to pure lol. This was really just a fun lesson on development to do with my littles during quarantine but now I’m addicted.

Why doesn’t your husband want cockerels? Are you allowed to have them?
I am allowed to have them and I’m not quite sure why he doesn’t want roos. My guess is either his fear of cracking a fertilized egg or the crowing considering our coop it’s only about 20 yards from our bedroom window lol

Okay. First of all, teach him what incubation is, and two, rooster crows really aren’t too loud, just a bit quieter than dog barking.

Not to mention this started out as a fun experiment to do with my girls during quarantine which he only agreed to because he wasn’t expecting that I would be able to successfully hatch anything lol

Hey, if you have a cockerel you can join the hatching game more often ;). Hatching stuff is fun, and having a constant stream of hatchable eggs just makes it easier to do.
