british type of marans don't have feathered feet. I don't know if you imported them. as for hatchery quality, it could be anything.

The OP's bird is a Cuckoo Maran. A Barred Rock would have yellow legs, this bird has pink legs.

French Marans are supposed to have feathered legs and feet if up to SOP. British Marans have clean legs. Because this bird is from hatchery stock physical traits will vary. It will most likely not be up to standard anyway.

Hence the possibility it is Barred rock with off colored legs. Cuckoo Marans are some what more rare.
