What breed are my babies?

I just tried again since I tried when they were only a few days old and they are 9 days old now, but i still did not find a penis, oh well lol, I'll find out when it's older

Golden 300's are sex linked but not with the next generation. So it's anyone's guess. You can vent sex starting at a day old but you really need to know what you are doing.

At first I wanted to say that they are mallards since they only have one distinct eye stripe, but I've never seen a mallard with a crest before so most likely they are Rouens. I bought some mallard ducklings from TSC a few weeks (I ended up getting in an argument with the employee who tried to tell me they were rouens)

no all ducks can be crested and the eye stripe thing actually doesnt truely apply my show mallards and the ones that i breed can have multiple or singular striped on there face as babies

and the crested gene orignated from mallards and continually bred as the birds began to be domesticated to what e see now in all crested ducks

i dont breed crested ducks i find the gene inhuman becuase the baies grow and live inside the eggs all there lives and then the ones who dont form the crest but still have the gene ( so they have a hole in there skull) die as soon as they have there head in the air cell (becuase there necks and brains cannot support the the brain staying inside the body with the hole

may be abit to early to tell there should be a stop in growth soon if they are mallards best of luck

how about mine, I'm thinking Pekin, just got them from tsc, I wasn't really planning on getting ducks I have only raised chickens but the kids have been asking for ducks for YEARS.

i would say pekin the one in the back looks a bit darker though but that might be from the lighting beautiful babies

yes it's just the lighting they are all pretty much the same color.

I got my first ducks there.
Be aware though! Mine ended up as a giant Pekin!
