Hello :) I have 4 of my chickens that I haven’t been able to find out the breed of. These are some photos.

I think no4 is a Black Star, but I thought I might just check because my other Black Star has a much redder neck, however I do know it varies between chicken. Thanks in advance

the first one is a silver laced barnvelder, the second, perhaps some sort of leghorn?
the third, I can't really tell, a red sex link and the black one does look like a bsl.

Thanks so much. I’ve never heard of the SLB so thanks. And yeah, the second one does have longer legs and a tail that looks very much like my white leghorn. I could try posting another picture of the third if you want. And good to have confirmed that no4 is the breed I thought she was for years!

Her tail goes darker and the end and has a little bit of blue/green.

you're welcome, I'm not sure what the orange one is, she is very pretty. is she smaller?

Thank you. She around the same size as the other younger chickens, but quite a bit bigger than the Silver Laced Barnevelder who is the smallest of them all. Here is a comparison photo. They are best buddies, but I also find she steps on her own feet a lot! Like in this photo 😂

What color eggs does she lay?

I sound like the worst chicken owner ever but I honestly have no clue. There have been a lot of pale eggs lately, hardly any brown ones, but the thing is that I’ve already left home when they lay, and I come back and find them all in the fields and eggs in the nest boxes.

A belated :welcome
1 = Silver laced Barnevelder
2 = Something similar to a cream legbar maybe... She looks similar and I know the UK has other legbar colours. Where are you located?
3 = A very beautiful I’m not sure! ;):) She looks similar to a NHR to me but I don’t know.
4 = Thinking BSL.

I agree! I think 1 and 4 are bantams of their respective breeds. How old is 3? Looks like a young cockerel to me...

Hello, I’m back! Thanks for the replies. I am located in the UK so could be. The only reason I’m unsure about 3 is that she has black tips on her wings and tail but I guess she could just be a NHR and a crossbreed involving a NHR maybe? About 4, thank you for the idea but I’m pretty sure she is not a bantam. She looks quite small on that photo but is one of the larger chickens I own. I was worried 3 is a cockerel too as it has a very large head and has been getting into some fights lately with other chickens. Think 3 is a bit over a year old, but her/his tail doesn’t look like a cockerels one at all which leads me to think maybe she is just a chicken? By the way, I’m not against cockerels at all and I love them, just not suitable for my situation. :) Thanks for all the responses so far
