I think they're black sex-links, but was told they're barnyard mixes. The one that's mostly black does have some orange colour under her head. The chick pics are just to show what the one looked like as a chick, the other two in the first three photos I got when they were already all feathered.

And that white one idk what she is mixed with and don't expect anyone to know what she is, but if anyone has an idea I'd be happy to know. She was a favorite but died before she started laying from heart problems 💔

Thanks in advance!

Bym mix is accurate, though the white one was a rooster.
The other white one was a hen, the black chick was just really tiny. She was almost laying age when she died and looked nothing like a rooster and one of the chickens her age was a rooster. I think the size is part of the reason why she died. The other ones like her from the guy I bought them from were also quite large compared to the hens but they laid eggs. Maybe something wrong genetically? Idk, but either way she was lovey, even if I was wrong and she was a he haha

If you were told they were barnyard mixes I would see no reason to doubt that.
Black sex links are mixes as well so it's not surprising other types of mixes would look similar.

Oh yeah I definitely believe that they're mixes, but also those three looked like black sex-links so it's possible because he had lots of roosters and could have gotten a pure bred as well. He wasn't sure. I should have clarified that in the original post, sorry!
