What breed are my new hens?

Let me start by saying that I did not need any more chickens but I found 5 hens for sale not too far from my house.

A student hatched some eggs for a school project last year and now that school has started again he has no time to look after them.

He was told they are Sussex chickens but I am not sure. Is there a breed called a Yellow Sussex?

They are about 8 months old and are laying a light brown egg.

She looks just like Ginger, my red sex link. My sussex looks totally different than that.

Sussex have pearl/white legs, and other attributes. So, I am going with some kind of sex link or crossed there after.
