What breed are these chickens?

Look like marans to me...Pink/slate legs... Yep marans with a little too much melanistic gene... what is the egg color on em??? It should be terra cotta to a russet red...(if that is the case... marans) The price sounds right too.

I believe the only Marans in Aus are Wheaten. So cross out Marans.

I live there...I would know...The only colour is wheaten. They are just listing all the colours from around the world

The hens look alot like australorps, but its hard to tell. I dont think the hens are the same breed as the rooster though... maybe the rooster is a crossbreed. His build is similar to that of a dorking (but the four toes rules out pure dorking) so maybe he has some dorking in his ancestry......... just a guess
