Got these 6 from tractor supply and they didn’t know the breed. One of my broody Muscovy hens adopted them anyone know what they might be?

Can I ask how you got your broody hen to adopt your ducks? Or did it happen naturally? I’m always afraid the hens will go after anything smaller than they.

My hen had been sitting on two eggs for over 38 days so I knew I would have to remove the eggs. I just replaced the eggs with the ducklings right before dark they went right under and she tucked them in. I have tried with other hens too not always successful but I think it helps to introduce them at night.

They look either Saxony or buff. Hard to tell without any close up pictures. There might be a Pekin in there, but again hard to tell.
Thanks for the help I have only kept Muscovy

They are adorable! I am leaning toward buffs because I don't see the typical white markings I see with Saxony. But I could be wrong. Saxony will have a white ring around their neck not found in buffs

We’re you worried about your hen pecking your ducklings?
