What breed are these hens

i love them already! I have not had them a day yet and they already come up to me and likes to be held! Do they lay through the winter?

Yes, so far they haven't slowed down at all. But they are still young. We got them as pullets back in the summer, so it's their first winter. I've been told they will continue to lay through the entire winter months. Yes, they love to be held, they are so bubbly and full of energy. Very curious, and always run to me when I go outside. I even had to give one a bath a few weeks ago and she didn't mind it at all, not even the blow drying. Those girls will be your best friends!!

I also agree with Mountain Peeps guesses, at least regarding the Red Sex-Links. I'm not so sure on the rooster. He does look like an Orpington, but I can't decide whether he looks more like a light colored Blue Orpington or a Lavender Orpington.
