What Breed are these Roosters

You're lucky those are some beautiful gamefowl!

Do you have gamefowl? Do you know what their laying behaviors are? How often do they lay? What color and size are the eggs? I suppose I could weigh them, the chickens, but they aren't even full grown yet. Might wait till May to do that.

Yes I raise gamefowl. My games lay fairly well when the weather is right late winter/early spring to late fall. I don't use any kind of lighting so I rely on the natural seasons to encourage their laying.
I use their egg laying for reproduction as opposed to consumption. If you want egg producing chickens, I would go with a more commercial breed. Game hens are strong broodies so take their eggs as they lay and they should continue to lay for you. My game hens lay a medium size egg that is
white to a light tint color.

Thank you gamelife! That is very helpful information. We took the chance with them, getting them free, from DH's friend. All the man knew, is that they are gamefowls, as he just lets them run wild on his property. We just built a portable lightweight coop, took it up there, left it for a month. Eventually, with feed and water, those newly hatched chicks got used to staying inside the coop cage. They all just looked like month old chicks when DH brought them home in June.
