What breed are these solid grey?

It's possible they could be EEs, but they don't have a beard or muffs. However, that doesn't mean they can't be EEs. I have one that doesn't have a beard or muffs. I've been raising EEs for years and so far haven't had a brown egg layer. So yes, it's possibly they are EEs, but they don't look like them to me.

Looking at these blue birds I would expect much thicker feathering on the backs of their necks, and they are feathered like a normal chicken. I'm just not getting EE vibes from them.

I don't necessarily think they are Easter Eggers either. Easter Eggers do come in many different forms, but these gals don't give me those vibes. Looks like they have more of a modified rose comb, which makes me think they might be part Wyandotte. Where did you get them from again?

I know nothing about Wyandottes.

I found a photo example of what I’m trying to describe in the neck feathers. See how thick they are on the back of the neck? This is a very young OE cockerel, but the pullets have this on their necks too.

I agree, a lot of hatchery bred EE have the same hawk-ish look that Ameraucanas have.
