What breed are these?

Well they are both Bantams, so are there bantam columbians?

No problem, glad to help. :)

yes to new question. Columbian is the name given to a specific 'color combination'- generally white body with black on the neck and tail and it could exist in any breed or mix if someone were so inclined to breed for it.

however the hobby does get a little confusing with naming- for example this color is given the name of 'Light' in some breeds like brahmas and sussex.. the genetics are the same, only the name is different. So if you see similarly colored birds with different names, it's just a naming quirk.

Columbian is relatively easy to make and can be unintentional just by allowing different colors and patterns to breed freely. So that bird could be an OEGB with columbian color either from deliberate breeding for it(columbian OEGB) or a result of mixed colors being allowed to breed freely.

Oh ok great. Thanks for the very helpful information. I'm new to all this. I've only ever had Rhode Island Reds so I'm new to all the breeds and color naming. I just figured Colombian was a breed name instead of a coloring. But I'm glad to know it now. Thanks.
