Hello I was wondering what breed my hens and rooster is?

Hens look like Rhode Island Reds. The rooster looks to light in color for RIR to me though. A cross maybe?

My husband says Hei Hei the Rooster is supposed to be the same breed as the Hens. But yes he is more of a orange color instead of the darker red like the girls.

Most likely Production Reds or NH Reds.

The hens look like RIR 's.

The cockerel is a New Hampshire red. The hens appear to be production reds.

Looks like a silkie. Gender will be depending on how old it is. these are difficult to gender ID

Female silkies when they have single combs can look quite a bit like this if they are laying age. But unfortunately can also be a male. Other characteristics look more female than male to me. A lot will depend on the age of the bird. If this an adult bird it is most likely a female.
