What breed are they??

Some houdan's are beardless by the looks of google images.

for example...
I agree with the above.. Though I wasn't quite sold on Yokohama for Nova.. Just seems like a mix to me of some sort. I am no expert by any means, so Illa is probably right. I just didn't want to say I thought that as well, when I have no idea. By looking at google images compared to Nova, it just doesn't seem to fit for me.
Only one I'm 100% on is your barred rock!

Google Images also says Ameraucanas have green legs, Araucanas are bearded and tailed, and Barred Rocks look identical to Dominques but for the comb.

It basically shows you what most other people have, which also is hatchery stock. Honestly most so-called Houands from hatcheries are actually made there by crossing breeds like Polish or Anconas in, which would easily explain the lack of required beard and also the lack of true Houdan type (square, beefy body)

parents have both sumatras and yokohama's from cackle hatchery. mom wants to get Malays (i think thats the one she wants). there are several breeders on here just have to find them. i also will be getting some bantam Phoenix from hmmmm i cant remember the two byc user names i'm getting them from right of the bat. one breeder is working on the dun, khaki, and platinum colors and the other is the regular colored ones from sq stock (i know it doesnt mean my chicks will be sq but i am hoping they are)

GRR!! I want a sumatra and shamo, i completely forgot about yokohamas until now!! where do you get them i always wanted those!!!!!!!!!!

and i dont really know of anyone or any hatchery that ships to your location :( if i did or if i find one i will let you know

to the OP: It looks like you're using cedar bedding. Switch to pine next time you buy a bale - the aromatic nature of cedar, though great against bugs, is an irritant for chicken respiratory tracts (which are pretty sensitive to begin with). Using pine will prevent any long-term health issues that *could* arise from using cedar. Pine is way cheaper, too.
