What breed could this be?

Any guesses on breed? It came from a brown egg. The lady we got it from thought it was from a pen with Jersey Giants and Delewares, but that doesn't seem right. Some have guessed Vorwerk but she doesn't have that breed.

I've had a few "chocolate chicks" hatch out and they are usually some variety of Easter Egger or EE cross with another breed, but it's impossible to really say at this juncture. Has it got a single comb? This chick looked exactly like that and she was 1/2 Delaware and 1/2 EE.

And this hen was 1/2 EE and 1/2 Barred Rock, also a "chocolate chick".

Yes, she has a single comb. Someone in a Facebook group said that a cross of a Jersey Giant and Delaware would look like this so I guess that makes the most sense.

but, then again, it may not. It's hard to peg mixes. Sometimes, they look very little like what they really are, though if you're experienced, you can see some clues to the cross.
