Once my chicks get about 5 months old, I am going to get some more 5 month old hens from a local breeder. I have been looking at lots of breeds trying to find a really pretty one that I liked, and while I was looking at a friends chickens today, I found one that I loved. He didn't know what type it was, and I wasn't able to get any pictures. Its neck was like gold diamond shape feathers with black diamond shape on the inside. About halfway down its body where the tail starts, it turned a blue/green color and they were beuatiful chickens. Does anyone know what type they might be?

Is EE an easter egger chicken? I googled EE chicken and just got pics of fried chicken legs. It looked similar to the one in this pic, but the tail wasn't black like the picture, it was a blue/green color.

EE are mixed chickens and they come in many different colors.

Ok I think it is an EE. It looked similar to the one in your 2nd pic so I will probably just have to pic them out by color when I go to get them. Thanks!

The place I am going to get them from sells 5 month old chickens so I should be able to see the colors good. Also, the one at my friends house was a hen cause it was laying eggs, but its bottom half of its body was green and not just the tail feathers. It is either a EE or a black sex link I think.
