What Breed/Genders are these? 9 weeks old

New to owning chickens, was hoping someone could help me identify the type/sex of these 9 week old chickens. My kids daycare hatched eggs and we decided to take 4 of them home. Don’t know anything their breed or sex unfortunately. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

We are new and trying to learn, what was the giveaway with the first one to make you think it was a cockerel and not a pullet?

Crossbreds, 99% of classroom chicks are. Could be Easter Egger mixes.

Are you thinking the same for this one (not the same close up as in the original post) and that it’s a cockerel as well?

Hmm the more I look at these birds the more confused I get. Can you number which is which? Also I may have been wrong about comb type earlier now that I'm staring zoomed in. Not sure.

No worries. So on these #1 is the one we were thinking cockerel on before. I'm not totally sure tbh with you but upon closer examination I am seeing possible rose combs not pea like I had originally assumed. In either case #1 appears to have a redder comb which is usually an indicator of males although at 9 weeks that's not a lot of development. Hang tight a few weeks and update us in about a month as they should start to have obvious sex specific feathering around that age. Welcome to BYC and chickening

1 & 2 are cockerels. Red wing bars are a male specific trait.
