What Breed is Daisy?

Hello! A few friends are gobsmacked at the size of Daisy’s eggs and want to know what breed she is. I have confirmed she is not a duck (), but could someone please confirm she isn’t a velociraptor and that I don’t need to fear for my life?

Unfortunately since she adopted me and my house and I had no say in this matter, I have no idea what breed she is. I’ve attached photos of her and her eggs.

She is very light to pick up, very friendly, is a prolific layer (once every 25-28 hours).

Her eggs are consistently 90g+.

She looks like an ISA Brown but her eggs are waaaaay larger than what others are reporting for the breed.

I live in Queensland, Australia, so that might narrow down the options.

For sure Isa Brown! Looks like my gorgeous Precilla. They're beautiful chickens with great personalities that get even better with age!

Is the egg size normal? We can’t fit her eggs into an extra large egg container for friends to take home, they are that large. No eggs in the shops are that large either.

In my experience the happier and healthier they are the bigger the egg. My Isa lays huge eggs too.

That could be true! Although it's quite chilly where I live definitely not like Queensland!

My two ISA Browns lay large eggs like that too! And one of them lays an egg that is brown with white splotches ^_^ Very reliable layers! I love them
