What breed is he??

I have a whole flock rhat I purchased from tsc during chic days, if you got it from the pullet bin I ended up with one white leghorn, a couple buff orpington x, 1 ri x, and several sex link chicks. Don't count it as a rooster yet unless it's crowing. I have one that lays eggs and it looks like a roo.now I'm not saying they were 100% accurate.

ours had only three different kinds, and my other big chick has no red at all for her comb and stuff plus hers is still little unlike his which is very large!

How does this bird look like a roo?

Yeah how does it look like a roo?  One of my RIR lays but has a massive comb and wattles.  Here face looks like a roo but she is definetly a hen.  She is friendly too.:love

Same here a few of my hens look like that... Aren't Roos more upright and slimmer? Not so round?

The bird in your pic doesn't look like a rooster. It lacks all the characteristics of a rooster including the long pointed hackle and saddle feathers, nor is its comb and wattle excessively large or red for a pullet that has reached laying age. Your bird is 100% pullet.)

That is a hen, not a rooster.

she doesn't look like one. This bird is clearly the same breed as the chicken that in post above say it's a rooster, this is a chick bought in February and she is a laying hen, I was showing her as a reference. That may not be a rooster that is pictured by semper, especially if it is as tsc marked them and a pullet

it wasnt marked by them they didnt know anything about them. and it was what you get is what you get, all the other chicks have light/pale combs and wattles are small and his are huge and red!
