What breed is my black Hen?

If they are rotten in flavor, then I would suspect infection too. Give her a round of antibiotics and see if that clears things up. If she is only mildly sick she will still lay eggs. It takes severe sickness usually to knock a hen out of laying (it's a sign of seriously bad juju).

they dont have an extrange color. just a the taste is almost like if it was rotted egg, or somethin. and what kind of infection could it be, i taught that only healthy Hens could lay eggs.? lol. i dont know. this is my firs flock of chickens. and we are really exited about them too.
First let me say that I don't know what the diagnosis of the problem with your hen's eggs is, so please read the following with that in mind:

I agree with Pele in that I would suspect an infection. I would not eat those eggs until I treated her if it were me. There can be an infection in the hen's oviduct I have read.

The only thing is, that it is hard to know which antibiotic to use. I personally would pick up some at the feed store and treat her if it were me.

Here's something that might be helpful: (infection in oviduct usual organisms)
http://www.merckvetmanual.com/mvm/index.jsp?cfile=htm/bc/205812.htm

I hope this helps but I sure wouldn't eat those eggs unless you treat her! If you are so inclined to involve a vet (bring them an egg) and pay the $ it would be nice to see which organism it was, but they do sell certain poultry antibiotics at the feed store with no prescription needed.

That is definitely not normal for a fresh egg to taste rotten.

how long can an egg stay in the coop and still be good. the reason i am asking is because i check it in the morning before i go to work and they never lay in the morning when i check it. at 6.:25 am

So when i come home from work, witch is at 5-6 pm, eggs are already there. so if they lay an egg at 7 am, then the egg literally sits in the coop for about 11 hours.(worst case senario) so is this too long for an egg to sit in the coop.
temperature right now is around 90-100F

No that's fine. I only collect eggs every 24 hours, myself lately, even when it's hot out.

If there is a rooster involved there is only slight activity in the egg...here you go:

We don't have roosters right now. If I had roosters I'd want to get the eggs twice a day, since those are incubation temperatures. I don't want the chick to be developing.

Also in winter I like to get the eggs twice a day, since they can freeze- then the eggshells crack.

I have a rooster and don't always collect daily, never had any embroyonic development from them being 90+ degrees. That's not why her eggs are nasty, neither is her breed. I'd try a run of meds and see what happens.

i went to the feed store and got some chicken antibiotic( the only one they had) it said to give them 1Ts per gallon. but this is just an antibiotic. would that help? and also i am a guy. lol.

Any help with the antibiotic?

I think your hen is a polish cross by the way. Her legs are slate like a polish, as well as the obvious crest. She looks similar to a polish x hamburg I had. That hen was cream in colour, but had a very similar look to your girl.

Hello, this is just an update, but here is what i have found out 1 week ago, the black hen(the one that the eggs are funny) is crowing like a rooster. could this be why the eggs are funny tasting. i being hearing some one crow for a week now but never seen the offender, i tought it was one of my little chicks that was going to turn out to be a rooster but this morning i seen my black hen at it.

Oh my! It's a crowing hen! lol

Maybe she has too much testosterone!

That would be wild~ a hormone imbalance in a hen making the eggs taste off...
