there are some working on cuckoo ameraucanas, I want to see red or buff barred ameraucanas soonYes. The folks that breed Ameraucans are quite protective of the work they've done with their breed. The confusing thing is that the hatcheries were selling "Ameraucanas" before the breeders set the standards, and they took the name, which the hatcheries still use.Can cause a lot of misunderstanding. Personally, I love the variety of the EEs. Tomorrow I am picking up a wheaten Ameraucana pullet and another that is a cross between 2 pure Ameraucanas (buff x wheaten), that the breeder carefully identified as an EE.She looks buff with some partridge showing, but because of known breeding, I am assured of blue eggs.![]()
