When you come to my house i am going to take you over to my neighbors to see this hen!!! The rooster will have long been digested by then....
I have no idea what happened to him, I think he was just hatched that way. But, when you have a soft heart and a willingness to take animals that others do not want, this is the kind of chickens that will reside in your barnyard. They have a nice coop and gigantic run....and as the saying goes "if you build it, they will come"Ha ha! I can't wait to meet the hen!! I am a little soft on some mixes, but what happened to that Rooster's head?
My neighbor was able to ask the lady she got him from exactly what he was. She learned that he is indeed a mixed breed. He is a mix of French Copper Marans and an Easter Egger.When I first looked it reminded me of a black copper marans. Although I am going to go with a mix breed rooster after a closer look![]()
