What breed is my new Rooster?

i was given this young Rooster today. Three of my hens were killed for sport by what I don’t know. So, I went and got a Rooster and four more hens. I just don’t know enough about the breeds to know what it is.

I’m thinking possibly a single combed Silver Laced Wyandotte.

Looks like a Silver Laced Wyandotte to me. I have one but with a flat comb. They’re very good roosters. Very attentive, will warn and fend off predators 24/7 and very protective of the ladies. Just let him be him.

Technically, if they have a single comb they are a Plymouth Rock. So, a silver laced Plymouth Rock

I would say mixed breed. Body type is wrong for a Wyandotte, reminds me more of a silver pencil hamburg except for that single comb.

Actually it’s not that uncommon for single combs to pop up in Wyandottes.
