What breed is my rooster?

He’s 4 years old now. All I really know about him is that he came from an Ameraucana roo and hatched from a brown egg, possibly Orpington or barred rock? So I’m curious what other people think also would love to know what his colouring is, or if he’d pass on his colour/blue egg gene. Thanks!

Wow, look at him! Handsome rooster and he looks like he knows it too Because of the mix of breeds and the muffs and beard I'd just call him a beautiful easter egger. No idea about egg color genes though.

Wow he is a nice looking rooster! He is not a barred rock cross or else he would be barred. He will pass on the blue egg color to some of his chicks. He may also pass on the blue color depending on what color hens you breed him to. What color hens will you be breeding him to? Then I can give a clearer answer.

Thank you!! That’s good to know and the hens I’m thinking of breeding are a silver laced Wyandotte, black Australorp, Cuckoo Marans, and a blue Ameraucana

Thanks for all the compliments and input!! he’s been one of the biggest and nicest roosters I’ve dealt with so far, hopefully he can pass that along to his chicks if I decide to go that route
