What breed is my white/blonde hen?

If she has never been treated then she probably is in pain.Soak the legs in Epsom salt or dish water liquid washing the feet then rub Vaseline on them.I treat my hens each summer or spring for this, seems to keep coming back. However a healthy hen can keep them at a stand.
I'll give it a go but I don't think she will let me.

You might have to catch her but it should definitely be done.Over a very long period of time it can kill her and will effect her chicks legs in the future.

You also should spray the coop with permithian spray.Use a spray bottle half water/Half permithian.Spray it twice.Along with the week baseline method.
I take it these mites are contagious? Would the chicks be at risk of getting them? Fortunately she is not with the main flock!

That's a big incentive to get It done then! How long will she need to be bathed for? Will one session help her to get rid of them or may she need it done several times? Would I be able to wrap her up in a towel to keep her calm? Will the Vaseline need to be applied more than once?
