What I was thinking. Why I asked if she had other pictures.
Your Aunt's bird is a cockerel (rooster) so that won't help you on egg color either since you'd be waiting a long time for him to lay an egg lol
I do not know how big your hand is. It just seems to be a very large egg for a first egg from an EE. Of course it could be a double yolk which is common when young. An EE can of course lay an egg that color, but I think a Jersey Giant lays brown and also can lay a cream color.I have a polish she is like an any thoughsilkie salmon fav, buff Orpington, jersey giant, and then my mystery girl my aunties iv uploaded a pic of her some where in the comments she is a naughty chicken

Well, do not take my word for it especially without more pictures. However, there are plenty of very knowledgeable people on here that can probably tell you from that picture alone.Oh shoot see my rooster is massive he’s 8 months old and everyone knows he’s a rooster hers does not sound like one so thought it was a hen as I had an ex batter that had big comb and wattles so thought nothing of itI’ll brake the news to her
I’m not sure if it was my EE my hands are not that big fits in my 4 year olds handI do not know how big your hand is. It just seems to be a very large egg for a first egg from an EE. Iv put it next to a normal chicken egg I got from the farmIf that is the egg in question it looks to be fairly good size for a first egg.
And how did it compare?Iv put it next to a normal chicken egg I got from the farm![]()
