What breed is she?

Hi all.

She is one of my main flock. When they were a week old, I started noticing that she wasn't growing like the other ones were (now, she's half the size of a my full grown chickens who hatched on the same day). I noticed when she was growing that her wings were longer than her body length. She grew to have a little bit of a warp in her beak, and in her comb as well. She's flighty but she's a consistent layer, she lays white eggs. I could not figure out her breed though. Thanks.

Looks like a hatchery quality gold spangled Hamburg to me.

Rae makes a good point. She could be a mix.

Looks like a bantam mix breed. Where did you get the hatching eggs?

Thank you, I can’t quite remember where from to be honest. I had doubts she is a bantam, but I always thought there was something wrong with her.

You should see a lot of white eggs from her.

Oh and don't be surprised when she grows spurs. Every Hamburg I have ever had grew big spurs.

Oh yeah, she lays white eggs and she’s very consistent, she never disappoints. And she does have a nice pair of spurs on her.

Leg color, comb type, earlobes, and egg color all match up with Golden Spangled Hamburg.....however, her pattern is quite off. Very little spangling, making me lean more towards mix. Gorgeous, though.

Do you remember if the hatching eggs were from a fellow poultry enthusiast's flock, hatchery, or a breeder?
