We just ordered 20 baby chicks from tractor supply and all made the journey here! they offer a “rare-standard” pack and we ordered that and received 8 golden comets, 1 cinnamon queen, and one girl who i have fallen in love with but we don’t know what she is. i’m assuming she’s a brown leghorn which would be terrible since they’re real slightly birds and she’s just a little doll, also because that means tractor supply duped us and sent us all “standard” breeds in their rare-standard pack. ill update more when she grows her wing feathers out more but any guesses?

Not totally sure, but I’m thinking speckled Sussex. Looks identical to my chicks I got today! :)
thanks for the response! i agree that now that i look at it, speckled sussex is probably right. unfortunately i was spending time with her and she stood up and crowed, even as a little baby. unfortunately i can’t have roosters in my city 😰

Wow! That young! A couple years ago I bought 2 speckled Sussex pullets that both turned out to be roosters -_- Both super sweet to be roosters, and I was able to give them to family members.
