What breed is she?!

I got this gorgeous girl in a rare breed assortment from Meyers hatchery. Can someone help me with the breed?? I’m stumped. I was thinking maybe a lavender Orpington?

Looking at the list of options, I think your chick is probably one of the various colored egg layers, most likely Lakeshore Egger or perhaps Frost White Legbar.

(I would have thought White Jersey Giant, but Meyer does not have any of those on their site.)

Unless there is some other "rare breed" that they did not list on the page about the assortment, which of course could happen.

It did not have a leg band. I looked at their page for identifying chicks & I just can’t figure out what she looks like.

Came from Meyer, and no White Jersey Giants are on their websites (it looks like they only have the black ones.)

So only if they have the breed in the hatchery but not on the website.

Definitely not a lavender. Lavenders are more of a silver shiny gray as bbs.

All I remember is when my lavs were babies they were soooooo shiny and pretty. I didn't even know they were lavs until they got older. I just called them the silver chicks. eggs I got from my FIL friend.

I noticed some of their blue and splash marans chicks are cleaned legged.....your chick looks closest to that variety on their chick identification page.....or a Swedish Flower Hen & in that case, it would be a cockerel......you'll know soon enough, they grow SO fast! I know it's a cutie pie

I seen the splash marans. I was thinking maybe that too. & it was ordered as a female so fingers crossed it’s not a cockerel thank you for your help!
