What breed is she?

Sooo my “Naked neck” laid a BLUE egg today!! And im really confused because they’re not supposed to lay blue eggs... sooo what if she’s another breed? Can anyone please tell me. Here is a picture of her and the egg. Oh wait, btw, how long can i leave the eggs outside with the hens before they go bad?

As long s you don't wash the eggs, they should be fine for a few hours.

A FEW HOURS??? They’ve been outside since the day she laid the first one i want her to hatch them and i think she will, but suppose that she lays her 12 eggs (so in 12 days) and she doesn’t try to hatch them, if i take them, are they still good? Or will i have to throw them away since she doesn’t wanna hatch them? Cuz basically the eggs outside rn are 11 days old soooooo yeahhh.... if she doesn’t try to hatch them, will they go to waste? Or can i still eat them? And should i wash them before eating them?

I would float test them, just throw away the ones that float. I wouldn't freak out about the eggs, they can sit out for quite a while and still hatch a chick. To me it seems that if a chick can still develop, I don't see why eating it would be bad. Now if you have some hot temperatures that's another story
