What breed is the AFLAC duck?

I have 2 pekin drakes. One is a rescue from a rat poison incident at an apartment complex pond where he was dumped. He was one of the only survivors

His name is Scooter and he just enjoys life as if he knows he almost lost his.

THe other is an imprint named Satori. He has a very sharp bill and he loves to be petted and loved on. Unfortunately, he kisses you with his bill and leaves bruises if youa re not careful.

Then I have my sweet crippled girl, Miss Matilda Pekin Duck.
The spoiled rottenest duck that ever was.
In the summer she gets the choicest of watermelon and gets to swim in the pond first before the oher ducks muddy it. She gets carried everywhere so she can flap her wings for exercise. She gets out of season tomatoes and watermelon in winter, while she lives in our guest bath much of the time.
She has a sense of humor. Really. The time I have slipped and fallen in the mud from her elicits a barrage of quacking that sounds like laughter.

Get some ducks. You NEED them. DRUMSTICK needs them.

I have a little muscovey and every time I reach in their brooder to fill food or water bowls he rushes over to bite. Doesn't bite too hard yet but I can just imagine what it'll be like in a couple more months.

I've got a pekin named Lellow. He's a big drake. I think the reason that Pekin's become such fox fodder is because they are slow and their butts drag the ground. When the other ducks take off and run around Lellow is off huffing and puffing trying to keep up.

As you can see in the picture he's a fat duck. However the little girl in the back is a Golden Hybrid 300 from Metzer Farms. She's smaller than the pekin and lays a ton of eggs. She lays about one egg a day and then 2 eggs every 3rd day. The black ducks in the picture are actually Cayugas. I only have 2 drakes left since the Hen disappeared. The hen is much louder than the drakes by far but the drakes talk more than the hen.

Maybe she believes it's time to change your insurance?

My husband is an independent AFLAC insurance agent and has seen how the commercials are done. The AFLAC duck is a MALE MALLARD painted white for the commericials!! It takes 90 minutes to get him white.
