I got this chicken at a poultry auction and ended up paying $15 for it! It's probably rare because of this and because I can't find what it is anywhere else, so I posted this forum. (it's a pullet in case you wondered the age and gender.)

If anyone could help me, I'd appreaciate it!

I'm assuming it is a standard size.
This is a game pullet.
She could be from just about any bloodlines. My guess would be that she is not purebred, but a cross of different bloodlines. There are a couple of bloodlines that are strictly spangled, but if she were pure, the seller would have said so & she wouldn't have sold for only $15.00.

A man I know just sold 2 purebred Spangled roosters for $500.00 each.

Looks like a cross to me.
The majority of its coloring is Mille Fleur, but it's a bit off to be true mille fleur (the brownness makes me think its not pure bred) and looks alot like an old english cross. Just my uneducated two cents. XD

Welcome to BYC fellow Georgian!
You don't have to breed her with one of her kind, you can get some interesting crosses with her.

You did alright pricewise on her, laying hens average $10-$15 in our area.

Now you have to get her some buddies to socialize with... Welcome to the addiction
