What breed is this chick and guesses on hen or roo?

Okay what breed is this chick looks like a sapphire gem to me but when i google image search it says Araucana? 5ish weeks old. Also Guesses on hen or roo? If it is a sapphire gem it had no spot on head when little.

Cute! Are you in the US? If so, she's probably not an Araucana unless you specifically purchased one from a breeder. They're not very common.

For breed identification, It would help if you told us where you got her from. Feed store? Hatchery?

Either way, she looks like a pullet.

Then definitely not Araucana. Could be sapphire gem or other hatchery mix.

I would heavily lean Sapphire Gem with the yellow legs she has. They're sexlinked and males are barred so she's a pullet!
