What breed is this chick?!

He also doesn’t look very good - dull-feathered and scruffy. Is another bird picking on him? What percentage is the protein in his feed?

Assuming he’s Large Fowl and not Bantam. How big is he in comparison to other chickens?

About the same size and it’s the only one with a comb and waddle that big for the age the rest are

We have a male rooster and yes the hens are plucking the back feathers

That explains it.
One - he’s not crowing because the other rooster is dominating him. It’s considered a sign of submission to not crow in the other roo’s presence.
Two- the hens are making him look bad. I recommend maybe separating him and any birds his age so that the hens don’t beat them up so bad. If you can’t do that or don’t want to; no biggie. He’ll figure it out.

Sad I wish it was a hen! Threw me off because of no crow but I will make sure he goes to a good home thank u
