What breed is this chick?!

He also doesn’t look very good - dull-feathered and scruffy. Is another bird picking on him? What percentage is the protein in his feed?
 
We have a male rooster and yes the hens are plucking the back feathers

One - he’s not crowing because the other rooster is dominating him. It’s considered a sign of submission to not crow in the other roo’s presence.
Two- the hens are making him look bad. I recommend maybe separating him and any birds his age so that the hens don’t beat them up so bad. If you can’t do that or don’t want to; no biggie. He’ll figure it out.

Oh! Okay. He’ll be really pretty- especially with all those colors. I hope he finds a good home!
