What breed is this chicken? Male or female?

I have 10 chickens from Meyer Hatchery, part of an assortment. They are 9 weeks old. I do not know the breeds that I have. After checking their website to see possibilities......I think it is a Blue Splashed Maran or a Blue Copper Maran. It has some small feathers to the legs. Can you confirm or identify the breed? Also, it it a roo or pullet? I suspect I have a roo. Thanks for the help!!

Im voting on roo. I think maybe he's a blue splashed maran but I'm not expert so I could be wrong

Cockerel. Just curious, do you still have them under a heat lamp?

I do have a heat lamp in my coop. They were inside for 7 weeks before I moved them out to the coop. We've had some really cold nights and didn't want to rapidly remove the heat. I'm only using it when its really cold. I was worried about rapidly going from house temps with a heat lamp to straight outside. Is that okay?
