Hi, I got two day-old ducklings from my friend who was in my highschool's Future Farmers of America (FFA) program. I never had any animals like ducks before but after 30 minutes of begging and many pictures of ducklings I finally got my mom to cave-in and let me get them. My friend told me that the mother was an American Pekin but she did not know who the father was.

I got a brown and a yellow duckling.

At first I thought that she was going to be a Mallard but after a couple of months and all her feathers came in I was given quite the plot twist.

I noticed that female Mallards have the blue spot on their wings however my duck does not have that. I've read books about raising ducks and duck breeds but I have yet to see a duck breed similar to this one. One of my other friends who was also a member of my school's FFA program told me that she was just mixed and she was a "Brown Pekin". I'm pretty sure those don't exist haha, so if anyone has any idea what kind of duck I have in my hands please let me know!
Thank you very much and have a great day!!

If the mother was a pekin and the father unkown then yes she is a mix. She isn't any breed. So no name for her besides a mixed breed or you could call her a pekin mix.

Oh! Great! Thank you for your help! I didn't think ducks crossing could create such detail (Like her white trimmed wings). My Pekin actually has a single brown feather and my dog that is crossed just has a single brown spot on her back (she is all white as well).
