What Breed is this Duck?

I was at a park with tons of Mallard hybrids, and found a particularly interesting duck in the mix. What breed could it be?

Very pretty drake. If there are domestic ducks there (I assume there are, since you said there were hybrids) then it could be any number of mixes.

They wouldn't be hybrids though, as all domestic duck breeds are derived from the mallard. The only exception would be Muscovy, but they aren't *truly* ducks. They *can* breed with regular ducks, but the offspring would be sterile.
 
Are muscovy related to geese? That's what they (sort of) remind me of.
They're kind of in the middle. They make a hissing noise like geese, although the females also make the most wonderful trilling sound, too.

Technically, I think they are more closely related to (and classified as) wood-ducks, as they perch and nest in trees and have longer talons to accommodate this.
