AHHHHUPDATE: Well Frankie actually ended up being a female. 18 weeks old now.Feathered in completely white though it’s a pale cream color and not a pure white. She should be laying any day, just started squatting.
Never heard back from the egg producer but I am still assuming she is a second generation red sex link, likely Rhode Island red and white rock.View attachment 2396914

I actually just needed the carton for some other eggs I was incubating and I saw there were fertilized eggs in the store so I bought them and put them in the incubator on a whim!

So if you breed 2 sex links, I know they don't make another sex link because they don't breed true & you won't know it's sex by it's color - so is it a just considered a mix at that point?
I think the term is an F2 (or maybe F1?) cross... maybe?Yes it would be a mix at this point. Sex link only is valid for the first generation.
Technically there’s no such thing as second generation sex link but that’s my way of defining what her parentage is.
