What breed is this hen?

I have two of them from a poultry fair in the spring. I could have sworn the lady told me they were brabanter’s but I realize now that is clearly wrong.

Barnevelders and Welsummers both occasionally have feather stubs on their legs. It doesn't make them a mix, it just means they aren't a good representation of their breed. A mix would be very hard-pressed indeed to maintain the elegant plumage a Barnevelder has.
