What breed is my red hen? RIR, RSL...

It looks like it it RIR and Barred Rock.

A RIR would be much darker, like a mahogany color, that is probably a production red, and I'm not sure on the other as I can't see the comb very good and the pattern looks a little different to me, unless it's just the way it blurred

The black and white girl is a Cuckoo Maran. I as thinking the red was a production. Was told she was a rir but just doesn't seem to be the right color.

here is a pic of what I thought was a Production Red....is this too dark? I have a few new ones that are lighter...maybe all this time I thought she was a PR and maybe she was a RIR?


One of my new pullets....has a tad bit of green in her tail....not thinking she is a RSL, as I have those before and she doesn't have the same coloring...
