What breed is this little guy and will he stay little?

My friends bought a box of chickens at an auction and didnt want this little rooster because it was so small and all their flock is large hens and roosters. They didnt know it even was a rooster until they brought it over and I opened the box and i said so. He's not crowing but he's acting mature. Is he a bantam or will he grow bigger? I have no clue what age he is but he's still sort of chirping. What breed is he?

He’s a young mixed breed, he will get bigger but probably not as big as a standard sized rooster.

He's a mix, probably with some game breeds in him. I think he should probably grow a little more, but he'll always be small.
