Its not colored Right to be a BBRed, I agree with an EE, its just a shame that sent you an EE as a RARE Fancy breed. They come a dime a dozen and their not all that fancy in my opinion.

I completely agree. Im not bothered by it though... they're strictly for pleasure...just pets. This was my first order from a hatchery. I have Buffs from a well known breeder but unfortunately got 11 roos out of 17. Plus, one with yellow legs??!! So, I'll take what I can get from a hatchery and say it was a pleasant experience!

I have an EE that looked exactly like that as a day-old. She was sexed as a girl, so maybe there's hope for yours. She's only 4 weeks old, so I can't tell yet. Her feathers are coming in yellow with black barring. Very interesting to see the chocolate colored chick change into that.
