Yes, the rooster would have to not be a cochin then.Salmon faverolles x cochin would not produce a chick without feathered legs, with a pea comb, and with that coloring.
There has to be EE in all of these.Thanks for the responses! Just curious and for fun. I did see a photo of the rooster (big black cochin) and two of the chicks both have feathered legs.
attached are two other siblings (there is a 4th who has the feathered legs and looks like the black on photo here. Believe he is a Roo)
